Bandag Bullet

While we were in Western Australia in 2008, the Bandag Bullet came to town to do some burnouts.
Hey, it’s a small country town, ok?
Quite a crowd turned out to watch.
Anyway, Bandag is the brand name of Bridgestone’s re-tread tyre division, and the Bandag Bullet is the “promotional vehicle” for those re-treads.
And yes, they do these burn out demonstrations on re-treads. I guess that’s a fairly convincing argument for the reliability of the tyres!
The Bandag Bullet is also recognised as THE fastest truck in the world.
