Borneo – Day 00 – Wednesday 26 June

Cath, Max and I have just spent a fantastic two week holiday in Sabah, the Malaysian province which takes up roughly 10% of the northern portion of the island of Borneo.

This series of posts will document that trip, and the images I captured along the way. Given that I am writing this series post-travel, I shall post a day at a time, so as to not overwhlem myself with an obligation to write excessively! Let’s begin….

I’ve called this day zero because it involved the first half of the travel required to get to Borneo. That comprised of an 8 hour flight from Sydney to Singapore, arriving there around midnight local time. Singapore’s Changi Airport is regularly praised as the best airport in the world, and the existence of a “transit hotel” simply helps to cement that idea in my mind. What is a transit hotel, I hear you ask? It’s a hotel, INSIDE the international zone (you don’t need to bother with customs or immigration) where you can book a room by the HOUR! What an awesome idea! Now, I’m not a truly seasoned world traveller, so maybe there are other airports with these transit hotels (I’ve since learned that Kuala Lumpur offers this, as does Heathrow… there are probably plenty more), but this is the first I’ve heard of the idea. With an 08:45 flight the following morning, we booked a room for 7 hours, and didn’t have to engage in that time-honoured tradition of sleeping in an unused departure lounge! Bonus.

A report of a prominent UK news paper says that Kamagra tablets have been found useful and successful in every 7 out of 10 users. tadalafil tablets prices The overnight cheap viagra good cures are not magic and they are experiencing the return of ‘manliness’ for themselves. One dosage of cialis tadalafil online is enough to have the exact same active ingredients and must work the same way as viagra do. Physiotherapy for neck and back pain can provide outstanding results but it is find out these guys pfizer viagra australia a process, not magic. No photos today. 🙁
