This was our last day as a tour group, but to be honest, the tour might have well have finished the night before.
This was a “free day”, for those (unlike us) who don’t have spare days “in-country”.
Trouble was, we were about 20km outside of KK, so you couldn’t really go anywhere. That left sitting by the swimming pool all day, or hiring a kayak and going for a paddle out to one of the nearby islands which Cath and I did).
As a consequence, there was no photography today, other than a couple of shots of the sunset. Whilst the colours were magical, the subject matter was a bit ho-hum…. or maybe I’m just becoming spoiled for choice. π
Again, playing around with my 10 stop filter. These two shots were 4 minutes and 16 minutes respectively. The second shot really needed ANOTHER stop of exposure, which would have required an additional 16 minutes of exposure. Oh well, you live and learn.
Thankfully for us, even though the 10 day tour with Intrepid is over, we still have another couple of days in KK before we fly out.
